The USI Pep Band is open to all current University of Southern Indiana students, current high students, alumni, and community musicians. If you love watching basketball and playing music, this is the place for you!
While we are first and foremost a student pep band, we are proud to have the support and participation of our local community members. Come join the fun and help us bring energy to every game!
🎷 How to Join
Interested in joining the USI Pep Band? Just come to a rehearsal, or simply bring your instrument and show up at the game. No registration or auditions required!
🗓️ USI Screagle Pep Band 2026-2027 Events
Rehearsal Instructions
The band cage is on the ground floor of the Screaming Eagles Complex (PAC) at Liberty Arena, just past the locker rooms. To get there: enter through the left-hand doors of the PAC, follow the hall to the left, then turn right and walk the long hall all the way to the end. Turn right through the doors marked "Authorized Personnel Only" — if anyone asks, just say you're with the band — then keep walking straight back and go left through the double doors to get past the fence to the band cage.
Stop by the band cage first to grab your music and a stand before heading out to the Band Patio for rehearsal.
We have plenty of space to practice and are excited to welcome everyone!
