Join Us for Orientation Practice — September 15!

Ready to catch the momentum from the Student Involvement Fair? The USI Pep Band's Orientation Practice is Tuesday, September 15, 2026, from 6:30–8:00 PM at the Band Patio (Bandstand), Liberty Arena. This is our first practice of the season and the perfect time for new and returning members alike to come find out what we're all about.

No audition or registration required — just show up! Bring your instrument and play with us, or if you don't have one with you, come anyway and we'll figure out what to do. We'll be playing some of our favorite songs and having a great time. Not sure how to find the Band Patio or the band cage? Check out our rehearsal instructions and printable map on the home page.

Help us spread the word! We put together a recruitment flyer — download it, print a few copies, and hand them out to anyone who might want to join us:

USI Pep Band Heading to the Student Involvement Fair

Mark your calendars! The USI Pep Band will have a table at the Student Involvement Fair on Wednesday, August 26, 2026, from 2-5 PM at the University Quad. (If the fair is postponed for weather, it will move to Wednesday, September 2, same time and location.)

This is our chance to introduce new and returning students to the band and get the word out about how easy it is to join — no auditions, no registration, just show up! If you're able to stop by and spend some time at the table, even for a little while, we'd love to have you there. Bring your energy (and maybe your instrument) and help us recruit the next generation of Screagles!
